La nostra storia sulle tracce di Pip Pyle si ferma al 1978, ovvero all’uscita
del secondo album dei National Health “Of Queues and Cures”. Ovviamente in
quella data non finisce la carriera dei molti musicisti di cui abbiamo
provato a parlare. Ad esempio Miller e Pyle hanno continuato a suonare insieme,
in particolare in In Cahoots e Short Wave. Miller e Stewart hanno poi collaborato
di nuovo nei primi due album solisti di Miller.
La carriera più curiosa è sta però quella di Dave Stewart che in coppia con la moglie Barbara Gaskin (ex-Spirogyra e Northlettes), nel 1981 con il remake pop della canzone “It’s My Party” centra per 4 settimane il primo posto delle classifiche inglesi iniziando così una carriera di pop-star.
